I have 14 full days in Croatia an am deciding how best to Split my time. I am thinking of spending my time as follows: 3 days Zagreb (really just 2 since 1 will be a day trip to Plitvice National Park) 4 days Split. 4 days Hvar. 3 days Dubrovnik. I actually have more than 14 days for the total trip, but I have subtracted out the travel days, so ...The car ferries are usually very steady in the water and the Drvenik-Sucuraj route is very short. The catamarans could be worse for those prone to sea sickness if there is a swell. 2. Re: ferry question- sea sick.It is hot, bring water and a snack. There are toilets and 2 bars/cafes along the walk. All of the beaches in Croatia are rock or pebble, many also have sea urchins, which you do not want to step on, so water shoes or sea shoes are a definite must. All of the ports sell them though – cheapest ones we found were 50 kuna.

Plus, they are not the best way to travel in Croatia. Busses are much better.
