Remove the clasp. In this case, first, remove the door panel insulation, and you should remove the clasp on the door handle rod for your interior door and detach it. Unscrew the three torque screws, remove another rod from the clip, and latch, which connect to the assembly. If the handle is loose, like nothing connected, then the plastic latch mechanism is broken leading from the handle to the lock. If it unlocks, it's the cable letting water into the motor housing. There is a recall 'fix'. You can also sit in the cab to see if it's trying to unlock (moves up a touch), but can't.
