I dissagree. You should use your usual setup to get practice for when 200cc shows up online. You can do well on any track with any setup, you just need to learn how to take the corners properly. you can't. you can view them in the miiverse posting thing and deduce what's left but that's a lot of work. you should have just done every course and character in order so it's easy to keep track.
